This LibGuide aims to facilitate professional caregivers who working on dementia’s subject area, such as health professionals (doctors, nurses, general practitioners, psychologists, therapists etc.), care staff, social workers and decision makers of dementia care providers (e.g. directors, managers, team leaders, etc.) to find relevant information about dementia. This guide covers not only medical information but also social and management area of dementia care. Providing resources from databases (e.g. journals and articles), books, government websites, healthcare organisation’s websites, statistics, video and other resources.


This guide does not contain information for a specific type of dementia (i.e. Alzheimer's disease, Vascular dementia, Dementia with Lewy bodies, etc.), but it is completed with brief descriptions and instructions for you to explore and find resources about dementia beyond this guide.
